EHISA is an English speaking International school in Algiers founded
in 2001 under a
different name
and
ownership. Since September 2004,
the desire for changing the curriculum was decided by new the
management team to meet the needs of its students and teachers. As a
result, Alligan Ltd., a British firm of educational consultants, was
commissioned to support EHISA to become a successful, high quality
International School. An initial report was produced by the Alligan
consultants,
entailing an advice on a range of developments and one
of them is becoming a Cambridge International Examination Centre.
With the effort of everyone, EHISA is now Cambridge International
Examination Centre, offering a range of International qualifications
such as Cambridge Checkpoint, IGCSE, A/AS Level and the Cambridge
International Primary Programme.
EHISA opens its doors to all age groups from Foundation Stage till
Upper Secondary, providing them with an international recognised
level of achievement. For more information, please contact us to
arrange for a suitable appointment and a school tour.
Dear Parents/Guardians,
I am pleased and honoured to have this opportunity to thank every one
including our EHISA people, for their tremendous efforts in realising
our ambition. EHISA has now gained the Cambridge International
Examination Centre status, and the membership of the Cambridge
International Primary Programme.

EHISA celebrates its First Year Anniversary
On the 29th of September 2005, to
mark its first year anniversary and its
recognition as a CIE centre, EHISA invited
parents, diplomats and expatriates for dinner at
the Sheraton Hotel. Guests had a chance to learn
more about the CIE General Qualifications and
the Cambridge International Primary Programme
offered at EHISA. Also, the National Symphony
Orchestra together with international guest
musicians (sponsored by EHISA) performed a few
musical pieces. Our guest musicians came from
USA, Japan, Syria and Brazil to join us on this
occasion. The evening was wrapped up by another
local musical performance from the South of
Algeria.
