Statutory requirement by EHISA:

All students are required to study English, Mathematics and at least one Science subject.
At least one subject is selected from each Group.

Seven subjects are mandatory for completion; any supplements are subject to extra tuition costs.

The International Certificate of Education (ICE)

ICE is a group certificate which requires the study of subjects drawn from the five different IGCSE subject groups. Students who pass examinations in at least seven subjects (including two languages and one subject from each of the other groups) will earn the ICE award and are placed in one of the three categories:

Distinction – grade A or better in five subjects and grade C or better in two subjects.

Merit – grade C or better in five subjects and grade F or better in two subjects.

Pass – grade C or better in seven subjects.

Students who do not achieve the grades required by ICE are awarded IGCSE certificates which are records of the grades in the individual subjects they have taken.
